In May, Vlahovic Group had the opportunity to hold an exclusive round-table on Croatia’s role in the EU enlargement process of the Balkans. The discussion focused on opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for the Western Balkan six (or WB6) aspiring to join the EU in the near future: Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.
The event gathered representatives of the diplomatic corps, the business community and former dignitaries from the region. On this occasion, VG also hosted Mr. Domagoj Milosevic, Chairman of the EU Affairs Committee in the Croatian Parliament who participated via video link from Zagreb. In the Q&A segment of the round-table, participants were keen to hear about investment potentials in the region, as well as the role that U.S. foreign policy plays in Croatia and WB6 countries. Also discussed was growing Chinese investment in the region.
